At River Edge Rehab and Nursing, CNA Week at River Edge 2025 was a time to truly celebrate our compassionate and hardworking certified nursing assistants. We pulled out all the stops to honor their dedication with themed dress-up days, delicious treats, and heartfelt gifts. The entire week was filled with fun, gratitude, and appreciation for the team that brings their best to our residents each and every day.
Kicking Off with Comfort and Care
The week began with cozy vibes as we launched PJ Day. This gave our CNAs a chance to relax in their favorite pajamas. They were also treated to special “You’re the Balm” gifts. A morning spread of coffee and doughnuts added a sweet and energizing way to say thank you for all they do. These small gestures were just the beginning of a week filled with appreciation.
Thoughtful Gifts and Community Support
Our team was uplifted by the support of our partners as well. A huge thank-you goes out to Gentiva Hospice, who thoughtfully contributed CNA appreciation gifts. Their kindness helped us honor our caregivers in a meaningful way, showing just how valued our CNAs are not only within River Edge but across the broader care community.
Dress-Up Days Bring Energy and Smiles
CNA Week wouldn’t be complete without a little flair! On Animal Print Day, our staff went wild with fun outfits. Zebra Cakes provided the perfect themed snack to match the mood. Later in the week, we turned the laughter up a notch with Adam Sandler Day. It was a tribute to comfort and comedy. CNAs dressed in laid-back gear and enjoyed delicious banana splits, turning the breakroom into a party.
Food, Fun, and Heartfelt Thanks
One of the week’s highlights was a special Cracker Barrel breakfast, generously provided by our corporate team. There’s nothing like starting the day with a hearty meal and genuine gratitude. As the week drew to a close, we wrapped it all up with Wacky Tacky Day. We also enjoyed a baked potato bar and gave thoughtful gifts to every CNA on our team.
